Flexible crossbar robots – economical press interfaces
Description
The newest automation solution for mechanical and hydraulic press lines from Schuler is the crossbar robot. It combines plant-tested, reliable robot technology with the advantages of crossbar operations.The system incorporates a conventional industrial robot expanded by a longitudinal axis with the Schuler tooling carrier expanded on two additional axes. Horizontal movement is performed along the longitudinal axis mounted in the press uprights. Controls are user-friendly for this configuration.
