Core competencies

Schuler Guß, established more than 130 years ago to supply the company’s own needs, is today an independent company within the Schuler Group. The company’s comprehensive capabilities including the manufacture of patterns, castings, and finish processing serve customers such as builders of machine tools of all kinds, builder of presses and compressors, as well as the motor vehicle industry. For the casting of hand-formed components in gray cast iron and ductile iron Schuler Guß offers, depending on customer requirements, all quality levels and a weight range between 50 and 32,000 kilograms (110 and 70,500 lbs.). The pattern shop provides patterns in wood and expanded polystyrene. Auxiliary services provided by Schuler Guß include pre-machining and finish machining, painting, heat treatment, as well as testing and quality control.
