Dipl.-Ing. Joachim Beyer, 51, joined the board of Schuler AG in April 2005 and is responsible for the business segment Forming Systems. After his studies in process technology at the Technical University Karlsruhe, Joachim Beyer first worked as an engineer and later as manager of the engineering department at Fleissner GmbH & Co. Machine Tools, Egelsbach. From 1989 to 2002 he held a number of managerial functions at Müller Weingarten AG, most recently that of management spokesperson for the Esslingen business unit. Joachim Beyer has been with Schuler in top managerial positions since 2003.
