Schuler offers - depending on whether a liquid or a gaseous medium is used - a variety of hydroforming methods for the processing of hollow components and sheet materials.Hydroforming also opens up numerous new possibilities for forming and manufacturing for a large number of different applications. To fully exploit this potential, we are doing research and development in the following and other fields: new materials for dies and components, new processing variants, continuous improvement of the our hydroforming presses (hydraulics, cycle times, process controls), new methods of quality control. In the process we are working in close cooperation with universities, research institutes, and other companies. The new ideas and findings serve the goal of continuing development of our products. Numerous patents already bear the Schuler name.
