Forging presses Forgemaster
Description
Schuler manufactures and delivers mechanical forging presses for the processing of steel and aluminum. Emphasis is on precision forging without flush on rotationally symmetrical components such as gears, ring bearings, axle flanges, aluminum wheels, etc. The main products for such applications are eccentric drive forging presses with a long stroke that manufactures one part per stroke in continuous operating mode. Processing also includes the highly effective tool cooling and lubrication system developed by Schuler. This system permits very precise control of the sequences cooling, drying, and lubricating during the press stroke.
Advantages
- High production rates in continuous operating mode (one part per stroke)
- High degree of precision because of the Schuler slide guiding system and tool design (single station correction possible)
- Long tool service life due to a flexible, integrated die cooling and lubrication system
- Flexible temperature control from 750° C (1382º F) to 1,200° C (2192º F) i.e. warm and hot forming
