Continuous roll forming
Description
Continuously running roll forming lines operate at a constant speed. These lines can process either blanks or coil strip material.During forming of coil stock the shaped material is sheared by means of a traveling cut-to-length unit. In many cases, in which the process can not be interrupted, such as during longitudinal seam welding or foaming (e.g. polyurethane foam), this method is indispensable.
When used in combination with an upstream pre-stamping line, finished parts can also be manufactured.
