High-volume production
Description
Schuler delivers turnkey manufacturing systems for high-volume production of hydroformed components. Together with our customers we develop and optimize the geometry of the component and then provide customized systems solutions.Two automated hydroforming manufacturing systems supplied by Schuler to Spain are producing engine cradle assemblies and instrument panel beams for the Opel Corsa. Processing steps are: Tube bending, pre-forming, lubrication by sponge application, and hydroforming in a double die. The complete production line was supplied to the customer as a turnkey system.
