Mechanical press with eccentric drive
Description
The Schuler Forgemaster product line include press capacities of 10,000 to 40,000 kN and a slide stroke up to 1,000 mm. Thus, these vertical, multi-station presses are ideally suited for a wide range of components manufactured by cold and warm forming methods as well as precision forging.
Even demanding parts can be manufactured to near "ready-to-install" condition. These include, for example, vehicle drive elements subject to high stresses, parts with complicated asymmetrical shapes such as bevel gears, alternator poles, or parts made of highly alloyed materials such as constant velocity joints (CVJs). Thanks to the precision of the contours achieved by the working principle of the Schuler Forgemaster, many parts no longer require subsequent machining and rework.
As a result of die weights, forming temperatures, and die service life, a die change system is a critical part of the line concept. Schuler offers the optimal changeover sytem for every need - whether semi-automated of fully automated control of adjustment and changeover functions.
Your advantages
- Wide range of application: cold forming, warm forming (at part temperatures of 550 to 950° C/1022 to 1742º F), precision forging (at part temperatures of 950 to 1200° C/1742 to 2192º F)
- Bei Nennpresskräften von 6.300 kN bis 40.000 kN kann ein großes Spektrum unterschiedlicher Teilegeometrien gefertigt werden
- Optimal part quality with long die service life
