Description
Schuler developed with its Speedmaster SLT a high-speed eccentric press with especially high production rates for the manufacture of small components with a high degree of precision.Such lines are used, for example, in the manufacture of ball bearing and needle bearing sleeves, small motor housing, battery cans or valve caps. Depending on the press size, nominal capacities range from 800 to 4,000 kN.By use of a one or two-track transfer system the Speedmaster SLT can produce up to 600 parts per minute and more than double the number of strokes compared to conventional transfer presses. A zig-zag feed is used for improved utilization of the material. Dynamic mass counterbalance also guarantees a high degree of smooth, quiet operation and permits simple mounting of the press on vibration-dampening elements. The precise roller guiding of the slide ensures maximal static and dynamic rigidity in the horizontal direction, which has a very positive affect on part quality and die service life.
