Transfer Notchmaster

Description

In the manufacture of large electric motor lamination (with a diameter of roughly 800 to 1.300 mm) the Notchmaster Transfer increases production rates and flexibility. The basis of the line concept is formed by Universal Notching Presses with servo indexing device for circular blanks or segments and the high-speed transfer developed by Schuler with linear motor drive that achieves superior motion dynamics and thereby the shortest cycle times.
The preferred method of handling of the workpieces is by use of pallets. The line comes equipped with automated stack pre-centering at the detacking station the guarantees a high degree of operational reliabilty. The use of no-wear griipper magnets throughout means that even laminations with many notches can be easily transported.
In order to meet customer-specific requirements, each Notchmaster Transfer is individually configured and can be equipped with a variety of modular components. For example, the integration of service hole punching and an additional notching press does not present a problem for the system.

Your advantages

  • Flexible configuration of the line in accordance with customer requirements
  • Highest speeds and production rates thanks to linear motor drive
  • Motor bearings, clutch, gearing, tooted belts or rack-and-pinion gearing, etc. are not required
  • Simple set-up, e.g. with manually adjustable grippers
  • Automated pre-centering, even uneven stacks can be reliably processed
  • Low maintnance thanks to linear motor drive
