Modular transfer

Description

Next to the mechanical presses, the modular transfer is the main component of a Compact Crossbar press.  The transfer module consists of two identical drive units mounted in the press uprights.  These are connected to a carbon fiber crossbar by means of a main lever.  The autonomous units in units in the uprights are equipped with independent electronic drives that permits individual adjustment to press speeds and transfer motion curves.  The modular transfer ensures reliable, low-vibration part transport from die to die even for large, complex components.  It permits the operator to optimize the transfer motion for each station depending on the shape of the part to be manufactured.

Your advantages

  • Freely programmable motion curves
  • Seven-axis part orientation
  • Manufacturing of a very broad part spectrum
  • Component transfer without intermediate station
  • 15% less floor space required than conventional presses
  • Permits simpler die designs
