Crossbar robots – flexible and economical press interface
Description
The Crossbar Robot is the newest automation solution for mechanical and hydraulic press lines from Schuler. It combines plant-tested, reliable robot technology with the advantages of crossbar technology. The system involves a convdentional industrial robot that is expanded by one longitudinal axis and with the Schuler tooling carrier by two additional axes. The horizontal movement is performed along the longitudinal axis that is mounted in the press uprights. User-friendly programming takes place at the robot control panel.
