Louis Schuler Fund.
In the support of knowledge.

In the year 1967, on the occasion of his 60th birthday, Louis Schuler founded the Louis Schuler Fund (LSF) for Education and Science. The fund was assigned the task of providing support for trainees and educational institutions in the field of technology. Since that time an annual sum of 40,000 Euro has been made available for that purpose. The Louis Schuler Fund is also active in promotional activities over and above the financial support. For example, once a year Schuler sponsors an information forum in Göppingen designed to inspire young people to pursue a career in technology. Schuler invites pupils from the seven local secondary schools in Göppingen enrolled in mathematics, physics, or chemistry courses to this forum.
In addition, the Esslingen Technical College regularly schedules a Schuler Day, on which representatives of the Louis Schuler Fund have the opportunity to inform students about the financial assistance available.
